12″ x 12″ Fun Art Show

12”x12” x Art x Fun: Call for August Artists
Join the fun at the I Street Art Studios by creating a 12”x12” work of art for the 2nd Saturday Art Show, August 10 2-8 pm. August 11. 1-4 pm.
Here’s the deal:
- Use a 12”x12” stretched canvas (or wood panel) of depth 5/8” or greater (no flat canvas, wood flat panels or boards accepted).
- Limit one artwork per artist with the exception of 12” x 12” diptychs and triptychs (2 complementary or 3 complementary artworks.)
- Any medium, mixed medium or 3-D creation fitting safely on a 12” x 12” canvas is acceptable. Paper or other items adhered to a canvas or wood panel or 3-D creation much be securely attached and must be able to be displayed hanging on the wall (max weight 10 lb.)
- No frames. Edges should be painted or finished.
- Attach identifying information to the back of the artwork with the Title and your name. Either affix a paper or card with the information or write the information on the.frame in permanent pen or marker.
- Register your intention to participate by filling out the registration form at this link: https://forms.gle/3LvxwkzBJRaC74Uk8. You must be registered to participate.
Bring the art as specified with a $10 Entry Fee ($15 for diptychs and $20 for triptychs) to the I Street Art Studios (1727 I Street, Sacramento 95811) on August 7 between 3 and 7 pm. Only registered artwork will be accepted.
In Late July or early August you will be sent additional information about drop-off and the show, and a form with which to create a label for your work. You must submit your label information on that form prior to August 7 at 7 pm.
All works must be priced for sale or can be listed NFS. All transactions will be between you and the buyer. No commission will be charged.
